Cookbooks

Cookbooks are tools available only to the Instance Owner. They provide the ability to deploy various optional configurations to your instance ; in short they set up certain features to work in ways you may desire.

GPHUD's design is to have a simple base with layers that can be added - Modules provide part of this via optional functionality, and Cookbooks provide the option to layer configurations together.

Cookbooks may be accessed at the bottom of the main GPHUD Configuration page in the website (below the list of Core and Optional modules). Any user may click on the cookbooks here and a short overview will be given of the steps that will be taken when executing this cookbook, along with any possible warnings that may cause issues with the cookbook.

If everything looks okay, or you are prepared to manually correct (or accept) anything the cookbook can't do, click the DEPLOY COOKBOOK button. A second copy of the 'steps' table will appear with the outcome of applying the changes in the final column.
