Effects
Effects operate a lot like Character Groups, though with a timed period.
Effects can modify KVs, including character attributes, for cumulative KVs like e.g. Strength they can be used to apply a modifier for a period of time (like a class modifier from a character group might, however with a limited duration), or in the case of delegating KVs they could be used to override certain fields, e.g. the TitlerText could be ammended to say “UNCONCIOUS” when the player has the Incapacitated effect temporarily placed on them.
In other games these things would be called buffs, debuffs, and similar, however their scope is not limited just to this and can be used to track various things, Effects is the shortened form of Status Effects which was the overall goal here, a status may not directly impact on the players character (as per the example linked below).
