How to log in to the GPHUD website

There are a variety of ways of logging in to the GPHUD website, as detailed here:

Through the HUD

  • Issue /1User.SetPassword newPassword (preferably out of earshot of anyone who might listen to channel 1), then go to the website at https://sl.coagulate.net and log in with your avatar name and the password you just set.
  • Issue /1Instance.Login and load the URL that gets Instant Messaged to you
  • Issue /1GPHUDClient.openWebsite and load the URL offered to you by your HUD

Note you can use any of these via any GPHUD, not just your own instance, thus if you have broken your Login sequence by e.g. breaking the login script, you can still access via another Instance's GPHUD and then use the “Switch” button next to the instance name on the website. Or use any of the other alternatives below.

Through the region server

  • Say **Instance.Login (two stars) near the server and use the URL in the Instant Message

Through the website

  • Use your SL Avatar name and the Password which you may have set through the HUD (see above)
  • Enter your SL Avatar name and leave the password field blank - open the URL that is Instant Messaged to your avatar. If your avatar is offline and you have Offline Instant Messages to Mail activated, you will receive your URL via your email shortly.
